I always wanted to do the English television program Top of the Pops and so finally in 1995 I got to do just that with the great London Beat

Vocalist Jimmy Chambers and I had met a few years earlier in a band called Combo Passé which featured J J Belle guitar #GraceJones ) Neil Conti drums (#DavidBowie #PrefabSprout )

The rest is history
